Slam Dunk 2015 was awesome

I’ve just about recovered from this year’s Slam Dunk Festival. If I had to sum up the whole festival/experience in one word, it would be phenomenal.

I was at the Slam Dunk North this year and got to chat to a load of amazing bands including Crossfaith and Zebrahead (Full list of interviews below). I spent most of the day at the main stage and got to see some pretty special performances. Being a fairly new band, PVRIS pulled a huge crowd. They sounded great and put on a very energetic performance. As usual Don Broco played a solid set despite a few technical hiccups at the start of their performance. Taking Back Sunday were Taking Back Sunday – a flawless performance (I even got a picture with Adam at a local Wetherspoons). Headliners You Me At Six tore Leeds a new one. It was great to see them headlining a city which helped them grow as a band back in the day.
