My First Tooth Interview

We caught up with Sophie of My First Tooth, check out the interview below:

How has the tour been so far?

It’s been really good. We’ve done 7 or 8 shows now. Our favourite was London. It was really fun. It was at The Bull and Gate – a really nice venue. Had a really great time.

What was the Hitchin date like?

It was good. Club 85 is a massive venue. The sound is really great. It was really fun. We played the Rhythms Of The World Festival. It’s was really nice to go back.

Your new single “Past Broadcasts” has just been released. What was the recording process and have you been happy with the response it’s got so far?

The recording process was a eclectic. We recorded it with Peter Abbott and then we ended recording the rest of the album with James Kenosha. We recorded some in Bridlington and some in London and we’re really pleased with how it’s turned out.

Your album “Love Makes Monsters” came out not too long ago. What was the recording process like and what has the reception been like?

The reception has been really good. We’re pleased with the reviews we’ve got and what people have been saying to us. People have been reacting to it live as well, which is good. Recording process was different. We recorded in Berlin, the James Kenosha mixed it and then we did some bits with Peter Abbott. It was quite a long process but worked out for the best in the end.
