How was the tour with Don Broco? What were the highlights and what was the best show?

We had such a good time. The Broco boys are all gents of the highest order which makes touring such a good experience. Also the guys from Bad Rabbits were great fun; we basically spent the entire tour taking the piss out of each other. Best show for me personally was The Roundhouse, right up until Bush’s bass amp blew up! And playing badminton with Bad Rabbits in the middle of the pit during Don Broco’s set in Glasgow was pretty special!

You head out on a headline tour in January. Which cities are you most looking forward to playing and why?

Looking forward to every show honestly. To be able to head out on your own headline tour is an honour as far as we are concerned. We will give everything at every show, no one show will be more special than the others. Having said that I am really looking forward to playing our homecoming show in Cambridge. They are always a blast and good to see some old faces that we haven’t seen in a while.

What has the response to your EP “Backroads” been like and have you been happy with it?

Response has been great. We really were not sure what people would think but we have had a wall of positive reaction from the likes of Zane at R1 through to some amazing messages from fans via Fcebook/Twitter etc. To receive this kind of feedback really spurs you on to push harder and harder and keep writing more and more.

How is the debut album coming along?

The record is done and we are extremely proud of it. We cannot wait to get it out next year and see what people make of it.

Apart from the tour in January and your album release what are your plans for 2014?

Touring and festivals! We have already confirmed some great festivals for the summer so festival season next year will be special for us. Other than that just getting out and playing to as many different people in as many different places as possible. Looking forward to being extremely busy!
