Album: Heart In Hand – “Almost There”

Almost There I know its clichéd to say this but Heart In Hand have improved massively since their 2011 debut with “Only Memories”. The band’s latest offering “Almost There”, exhibits how hard the band have worked and demonstrates how tight their sound has become.

If I had to describe the album in one word, it would be phenomenal. “Almost There” gives the listener a solid 13 hardcore tracks to digest. The album is raw, fast paced and riff heavy. The guest appearances on the album take Heart In Hand to another level. First with Mikey Chapman and Sam Douglas of Mallory Knox featuring on stand out track ‘Maybe’, while Bury Tomorrow’s Dani Winter-Bates lays down some vocals on ‘Broken Lights’. Even with these guest appearances, you can’t take it away from Heart In Hand – They’re a great band and “Almost There” proves it.
