5 minutes with Bad Influence

I had the pleasure of speaking to former TNA World Tag Team Champions Kazarian and Christopher Daniels, better known as Bad Influence hours before they competed at the special Hardcore Justice Impact Wrestling TV taping.

Bad Influence - Christopher Daniels and Kazarian

Bad Influence – Christopher Daniels and Kazarian

I first asked the guys how they got into the wrestling business. Both started working the independent wrestling scene. Here they learnt and developed their very unique wrestling styles. Both had the opportunity to work in Japan – a country rich in wrestling history and heritage. Kazarian spoke about his training with wrestling legend Killer Kowalski. Daniels has been wrestling for 20 years, Kazarian 15 years.

I asked Kazarian his strategy competing in tonight’s Hardcore Justice match. He told me that he was better than everyone and guaranteed a win, climbing the ladder and bringing home the 20 points. He kept his promise and won the match. He defeated AJ StylesAustin Aries and Jeff  Hardy in a ladder match in the Bound for Glory Series.

We spoke about the upcoming January UK tour (More tour news coming this Monday – We’ll keep you posted). Both Daniels and Kazarian can’t wait to come back to the UK. They spoke highly of the UK fans citing them as the greatest fans in the world. They will be bringing the best wrestling to the UK and can’t wait to show the fans what they’re all about. As put by Daniels himself “London will be calling!”.

I asked the guys if they could have their own rider at each show, what would be on it. Answers from both included Monster Rehab, skin care products, black socks and deodorant sticks. I also asked what they would like to achieve in 1 years time in TNA. Both said they would like to win World Heavyweight titles.

Both Kazarian and Chris Daniels are huge music fans. I asked them what they are listening to at the moment. Both love Alice In Chains, Avenged Sevenfold (who are going up against Naughty Boy for number 1 album this week!) Korn, Metallica and Iron Maiden. They haven’t been listening to much Dale Oliver though ;-).

Impact Wrestling airs every Sunday night on Challenge at 9pm. Tickets for the UK tour are on sale via all usual ticket outlets.
