Man Made is the work of nineteen year-old singer songwriter Nile Marr, who heads out as support to Howler this month on a full UK and European Tour.
At such tender years it’s telling that Man Made, aka Nile Marr, has already made guest appearances onstage with such luminaries as Broken Social Scene, Bright Eyes and The Lemonheads, as well as opening shows for the likes of Junip and Badly Drawn Boy, and performing at both this year’s Latitude Festival and the award-winning Tramlines Festival.
Nile started out playing his first shows at just fifteen around the North West. Now based in Sheffield, he has developed into a true virtuoso guitar player, displaying an astonishing musical pallet that comes together to create the absorbing, melodic, world of Man Made.
One listen to Man Made’s recently released and self-titled debut EP highlights the talent this young man has to offer.
