The T in the Park 2011 line up was revealed on Tuesday and the excitement hasn’t stopped since.  Festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partner Tennent’s Lager delivered another ultra-impressive bill of the biggest names and best breakthrough acts in music.  With headliners Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Foo Fighters together with the 45 additional bands announced, T in the Park 2011 boasts Brit Award and Grammy winners, multi-million selling artists, music icons, legends and the freshest faces from the UK music scene.  It’s no wonder all remaining tickets sold out in less than 60 minutes after going onsale at 9am this morning.

Geoff Ellis, Festival Director at DF Concerts: “We are delighted to have an exceptionally strong line-up for 2011 but you can’t be complacent, it’s still as momentous for us to sell out now as it was the first time around and we’re thrilled. It’s great to know 85,000 music lovers think we’ve made the right choices and that they are as excited about the gates opening on 8th July as we are.”

George Kyle, Head of Sponsorship at founding partner Tennent’s Lager: “Everybody at Tennent’s is delighted at the news that tickets have sold out so incredibly fast.  We never underestimate the passion of the fans and it’s great to have them back in force for T in the Park 2011.”
